After the 鈥淎fterglow鈥
Icelandic singer-songwriter 脕sgeir is bringing his brand of folk-pop to the St. Francis Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 10. 脕sgeir is touring in support of his new album 鈥淛ulia,鈥 which was released in February. Tickets are $35-$40 at tickets.lensic360.org. St. Francis Auditorium at the New Mexico Museum of Art is located at 107 W. Palace Ave. in Santa Fe.
Ohana means family
The Santa Fe Summer Scene Free Movie Series is screening the live-action remake of 鈥淟ilo and Stitch鈥 at the Santa Fe Railyard Park at 7 p.m. Saturday, June 6. Free popcorn will be provided, and eventgoers can come dressed as Lilo or Stitch for the preshow costume contest. To reserve a spot, visit tickets.lensic360.org. A shining example
The Council of sa国际传媒官网网页入口 Garden Clubs is holding the 鈥淔rom Sea to Shining Sea鈥 Flower Show from 1-4 p.m. Friday, June 5, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 6. Then, from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, the sa国际传媒官网网页入口 Garden Center is holding its annual tea event. This year鈥檚 tea theme is 鈥淟iberTea.鈥 The flower show is free, and tickets to the tea event are $40, plus fees, at albuquerquegardencenter.org. Singer-songwriter Noah Guthrie, known for his blend of country, Americana and rock, will be performing at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, June 6, at Sage Valley Pottery. Tickets are $24.54 at holdmyticket.com. Sage Valley Pottery is located at 4908 Corrales Road in Corrales.
Celebrating youth
The third annual Walatowa Youth Fest is coming to the Walatowa Visitor Center in Jemez Pueblo from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 6. The event showcases the artwork of Indigenous youth artists ages 20 and under. There will also be a Kids Zone with a 24-foot rock wall, inflatables, games and more for a $3 all-day access pass. The Walatowa Visitor Center is located at 7413 N.M. 4 in the Jemez Pueblo.
This is who they are
The New Mexico Women鈥檚 Chorus will be performing 鈥淭his Is Who We Are鈥 at 7 p.m. Saturday, June 6, at the First Unitarian Church, and at 4 p.m. Sunday, June 7, at the First Presbyterian Church. Songs from the program include 鈥淏orn This Way,鈥 鈥淯nwritten,鈥 鈥淲e Are Family,鈥 鈥淭his Is Who We Are鈥 and more. Tickets are $13-$20 at nmwomenschorus.org.
