The City Nature Challenge has ended, and globally, 3,001,825 observations of 76,422 different species were recorded.

The event is a four-day bioblitz that took place April 24-27, with citizen scientists photographing and identifying wild plants and animals using the iNaturalist app. 

This year the saʴýҳ, Santa Fe and Silver City areas participated. Here's a breakdown of how each did.

ALBUQUERQUE

Observations: 11,891

SANTA FE

Observations: 2,085
