Longtime local dry cleaner The Cleanery opens new Northeast Heights location

The Cleanery, an sa国际传媒官网网页入口-based family operation of dry cleaners, is pressing on with growth.
The business opened a new location in sa国际传媒官网网页入口鈥檚 Northeast Heights earlier this month. The location, next door to SwimLabs at 8120 Ventura NE, brings the company鈥檚 footprint to four storefronts in sa国际传媒官网网页入口, with three of those situated in the Northeast Heights.
Kurt Lucero, owner of the second-generation family business, said in a statement that the new location aims to increase convenience for a growing customer base in the area.
The Cleanery first opened in 1984, serving 鈥渢ens of thousands鈥� of customers since then, a news release said. The business serves customers in sa国际传媒官网网页入口 and Santa Fe, with pickup and delivery services offered to the City Different.
Business has grown in recent years. The Cleanery acquired another dry cleaning business, Hangers sa国际传媒官网网页入口, in 2022 and opened a new workshop in 2023.
The 4,000-square-foot workshop, located at 2512 Graceland NE, is where the business processes all clothing, wedding attire and household items, the news release said. The owners also purchased some new, state-of-the-art equipment to enhance and help with increased production flow, the release said.
