Santa Fe Art Week is returning for its sixth year.
It is an exciting year for Santa Fe Art Week. This year, both the International Folk Art Market and Art Santa Fe fall on the same weekend for the first time in more than a decade. Also, the reveal of the Zozobra Centennial Exhibition at Art Santa Fe will be part of the weeklong event, according to a Santa Fe Art Week news release.

The week started off with the International Folk Art Market at the Santa Fe Railyard Park which runs through Sunday, July 14, and the Art Santa Fe fair at the Convention Center from Friday, July 12, through Sunday, July 14.
As one of the state鈥檚 premier cultural events, Santa Fe Art Week attracts thousands of art enthusiasts, collectors and visitors eager to explore the diverse offerings of over 90 exhibitors.
This year鈥檚 Art Santa Fe comes ahead of the 100th anniversary of the burning of Zozobra on Labor Day weekend. In honor of this, the fair will be hosting a Zozobra Centennial Exhibition, showcasing 32 Zozobra sculptures created by local artists.
These sculptures will be on display and available for purchase, offering attendees the opportunity to own a piece of this celebration.
From abstract and contemporary art to fine art photography and sculpture, Art Santa Fe offers a broad display of artistic expressions. One addition this year is the inclusion of AI-influenced art.
The event鈥檚 curated and juried selection process ensures a high standard of artistic quality, making it a must-visit for art lovers.
Since its inception, Art Santa Fe has steadily grown, attracting between 3,500 and 4,500 visitors.
Another feature of Art Santa Fe is the opportunity for attendees to engage directly with artists.
鈥淓very day on the fair floor, there are 鈥榤eet the artist鈥� events where artists conduct special installations and demonstrations,鈥� said Linda Mariano, the managing director of marketing for Art Santa Fe.
Attendees can also take a break from the art-filled halls to enjoy a variety of offerings from food trucks before diving back into the exhibitions.
The International Folk Art Market and Art Santa Fe will be followed by a week of events held by the Santa Fe Gallery Association, including shows and openings, art talks, live demonstrations and workshops. The events will take place at galleries, museums and other destinations throughout Santa Fe.
