鈥淚鈥檓 just excited to come to sa国际传媒官网网页入口 and meet everybody,鈥� Nikki Pickle, bassist for Frankie and the Witch Fingers, said. 鈥淎nd hope we all get to that party together.鈥�

The band recently debuted a new album, 鈥淭rash Classic,鈥� alongside a video game paired with their new song, 鈥淕utter Priestess.鈥�

The group thought 鈥渕aybe we could do a video game instead of a music video, like, that might be a fun, interesting way to premiere the song that people won鈥檛 expect,鈥� Pickle said. 鈥淎nd it came out really good.鈥�

The video game and song have received a lot of positive attention from fans, according to Pickle.

鈥淧eople are really psyched about it. I think that fans of the band tend to also be fans of video games and like gaming in general,鈥� Pickle said. 鈥淪o we had a contest where people who got the highest score 鈥� could win a press pass.鈥�

During the contest, Pickle says that the band received numerous entries and videos from players who had played the game, and ultimately, the two players chosen had accumulated over 399,000 points in the game.

鈥淲e鈥檙e hidden in the game. You have to rescue each one of the band members. And people were writing us, like, 鈥榃here鈥檚 John? I can鈥檛 find Dylan,鈥欌�� Pickle said. 鈥淎nd then my dog is in the video game.鈥�

The band is going on tour and will make a stop in sa国际传媒官网网页入口 on Sunday, July 27. Pickle says she likes touring because of the fans.

鈥淢y favorite thing about touring is getting to meet people and talk to them face to face,鈥� Pickle said. 鈥淏ecause, you just talk to people on the internet, but when you鈥檙e actually in the city, people come out and you get to chat with them after the show.鈥�

Pickle says she hopes the music the band creates can help connect people and draw them to the shows.

鈥淚 hope that they like the music and they find some sort of connection to that. And then want to come see it live,鈥� Pickle said. 鈥淎nd then I hope that when they develop a connection to us as humans, and want to keep coming back so we can be friends.鈥�

Frankie and the Witch Fingers have performed in sa国际传媒官网网页入口 before.

鈥淚 love coming back to the desert and passing through that region. The people are amazing. The food is really great,鈥� Pickle said. 鈥淭his landscape around you is gorgeous. It鈥檚 really interesting.鈥�

She says that the atmosphere at a Frankie and the Witch Fingers鈥� concert is crazy and fun.

鈥淚t鈥檚 usually like people flying through the air. People dressed up in lots of neon,鈥� Pickle said. 鈥淚 would say the atmosphere is like a fun, happy party with lots and lots of loud music.鈥�
