At just 10 years old, Atticus Hendricks-Smith added an accomplishment to his sports r茅sum茅 that most people will never attain in their lifetimes.

The sa国际传媒官网网页入口 youth hit a hole-in-one while golfing with his family on Saturday.

鈥淚 said I couldn't see my ball. My mom said, 鈥榙o you think it could've hit something or gone off the green?鈥 And I said, 鈥榙o you think it could be in the hole?鈥 And I looked in the hole, and there it was,鈥 he said.

The ball was there, in the hole on the first green at Puerto del Sol Golf Course. Atticus got it there with one swing, using a 3-wood from the men鈥檚 tees 鈥 160 yards away 鈥 on the Par 3.

The surprising feat captured the attention of golf course employees.

鈥淚t's super impressive; it's impressive for even an adult to do it, so for a kid to do it, it's even more impressive,鈥 said Mark McFall, the golf professional and pro shop manager at Puerto del Sol.

Atticus, who started golfing when he was 5, regularly hits the greens with his family, including parents, sisters and grandparents. He鈥檚 been the sa国际传媒官网网页入口 Country Club Junior Summer Golf Champion for his age group for the last four years, said his mom, Allison Hendricks-Smith.

He鈥檚 also a decorated swimmer. Atticus has achieved eight state swimming records, seven of which are still standing, his mom said.

鈥淚 think Atticus is a great 10-year-old kid first and foremost; happy, kind, funny, compassionate and smart. He loves school and works incredibly hard at everything he puts his mind toward,鈥 Allison said.

Atticus is headed into fifth grade at Coral Community Charter School.

When asked what he wants to do when he grows up, Atticus said, 鈥渟wimming Olympics and the PGA (Professional Golf Association).鈥
