Over the next seven weeks, we'll travel from the Texas border in eastern New Mexico to the Arizona state line, uncovering stories, landmarks and hidden gems that make this legendary highway so special.
Along the way, we鈥檒l look for scenic byways, breathtaking vistas and small-town main streets that seem frozen in time 鈥� all connected to historic Route 66 and its successor, Interstate 40. The road is filled with more twists, turns, and surprises than a fiery New Mexico chile.
