It's not often someone needs to be "extricated" from the middle of Downtown sa国际传媒官网网页入口.
But on Tuesday, firefighters fielded a call around 10:40 a.m. about a person stuck in a storm drain at Fifth and Marquette NW.
When rescuers arrived, they found a middle-aged man stuck underneath a below-grade building access, according to an sa国际传媒官网网页入口 Fire Rescue social media post.
AFR spokesman Lt. Jason Fejer said the man had tried to retrieve an item he dropped into the drain when he got stuck.
"The individual was not injured but was unable to get out," the department said. It is unknown what he dropped.
Firefighters removed the protective grates and used an attic extension ladder to get the man out, the post said.
