KREBS could have saved himself some time on the witness stand; if he wooed potential donors with suites in Lobo Village, tours of The Pit and the Rudy Davios basketball center, between rounds of golf at the South and North courses, both of which the University owns. Minimal excitement around town with the Lobo football team once again picked for last place in the MWC. Walking the city鈥檚 malls to get out of the heat, one rarely sees any people wearing UNM gear 鈥� instead viewing a shirt recently that stated 鈥淵ou Suck鈥� among other oddities. As former Lobo football coach Bob Davie stated: this town is a little bit quirky.
