Former Lobo joins The Enchantment roster ahead of next week's TBT tournament
The Enchantment added some muscle to its frontcourt on Thursday, not to mention a little home cookin鈥 for next week鈥檚 start of its run in the $1 million, winner-take-all TBT tournament.
Former UNM forward Morris Udeze, the Houston native who will be playing over the next week in the NBA Summer League for the Houston Rockets, has joined the now 11-person Enchantment roster, a team primarily comprised of players with New Mexico ties.
The Enchantment opens play in the 64-team tournament next Friday against Once a Bronco, a team of former Boise State players, including several who were in the Mountain West two seasons ago when Udeze played for the Lobos and was named the league鈥檚 Newcomer of the Year in 2023, his only season with UNM after playing his first four years at Wichita State.
Udeze played professionally in Poland this past season.
Enchantment General Manager Brandon Mason has acknowledged there is a chance of another addition to the team before next week鈥檚 first game, but as of Thursday night nothing had been confirmed.
In the meantime, members of The Enchantment roster, not including Udeze who is in Las Vegas, Nevada, to start Summer League action on Friday, have started arriving in sa国际传媒官网网页入口 for workouts.
