Nicario Romero 1936-2025 Nicario Romero, 89, a resident of Las Estancia, formerly from La Constancia, passed away on Nov. 19, 2025. Services took place at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church on Wednesday, Nov. 26. Interment followed at Tom脙 Catholic Cemetery. He is survived by his brother, Hijinio Romero of Los Lunas. Nicario is preceded in death by his parents, Luciano and Vitalia Romero; sisters, Adelina Gallegos, Prudencia Sanchez and Carmen Guerera; and brothers, Elisandro, Antonio, Jesus, Clory and Fermin Romero. He loved to play cards and loved going to Las Vegas. Our tio Nick loved his sweets and his coffee. His cabinets were always stocked with his favorite cookies and candies. He loved to talk and was a friend to all. He was not shy about his faith and shared his love for Christ with everyone. He is dearly loved by his family and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
