Marble Brewery may have new owners soon.

The brewery, which has been in operation for 16 years and has several taprooms throughout sa国际传媒官网网页入口, has an interested buyer.

鈥淲e have no information to share regarding the sale,鈥� said Tammy Lovato, vice president of sales distribution, sales and marketing at Marble Brewery. 鈥淚 personally do not know who the company is but heard they are local, they are very beer focused.鈥�

Lovato said Marble鈥檚 ownership is handling the details and has not shared who the potential buyer might be.

鈥淭here is a company that is interested in purchasing Marble, that has a letter of intent in,鈥� Lovato added.

There have been rumors circulating the internet on sites such as Reddit saying the brewery is filing for bankruptcy and closing all of its locations, which Lovato said is completely untrue.

鈥淢arble has not filed for bankruptcy and that is public information,鈥� Lovato said. 鈥淚t is public record that is easily verifiable.鈥�

One thing the rumor mill has done is drum up more business for the brewery.

鈥淢arble Brewery is open for business and we are very thankful for the people that have shown up and continue to show us support,鈥� Lovato said. 鈥滱nd I have been just sending everybody to to check out all of our awesome taproom events that are coming up and all of the great food trucks that we鈥檙e booking at our locations.鈥�

Lovato said there has been an outpouring of love from the community and many patrons have reached out to check on the staff.

鈥淢arble is really special for the people of sa国际传媒官网网页入口,鈥� she said. 鈥淚 understand why people are flooding the internet with questions because everybody is curious as to what is happening with Marble because it has been around so long. I hope people can just stand with us as we make our transition into the next thing and we will be as honest and transparent with people as we can. I鈥檓 very optimistic about it.鈥�

Lovato said there are no plans to suspend operations anytime soon and that goes for distribution throughout the state and surrounding areas.

鈥淲e are currently distributed in New Mexico, Colorado, West Texas and Nevada,鈥� Lovato said. 鈥淭here are no plans to cease distribution into those territories. We have plenty of liquid. Our tanks are full. We are ready to sell beer.鈥�

The brewery will be meeting with its distribution partners to make sure there is a plan for the next couple of months.

鈥淲e are full steam ahead over here to make sure people that are looking to purchase Marble products can do so at their favorite bar and restaurant, at their favorite liquor store, grocery store and especially at our taprooms,鈥� Lovato said.

An all staff meeting was held late last week to address staff members and the sales team.

鈥淓verybody is aware of what is happening within the company and leadership has given people tools to make decisions that fit their lifestyle and what they need to do that鈥檚 best for them,鈥� Lovato said. 鈥淲e just want everybody to be in the know and make the best decisions possible for themselves and their family.鈥�

More information will be provided as things get finalized.

鈥淭here鈥檚 a lot of decisions that are being made, but as soon as we know (more), we will come out with another statement and make sure that it is a little bit more solidified so people know what the next journey is for Marble Brewery,鈥� Lovato said. 鈥淚 know a lot of people depend on us as a staple for music, food trucks, amazing craft beer and just being the local watering hole. We鈥檝e been here for 16 years so we definitely want to be as transparent with our community as we can be. There鈥檚 just some things we don鈥檛 know and we can鈥檛 talk about right now, but we will.鈥�
