From the very first grapes planted by the Spanish in 1629 along the banks of the Rio Grande, the state鈥檚 wine and grape-growing culture has grown into one that today鈥檚 New Mexicans are fiercely proud of. High-altitude bubbly, festive events, sophisticated atmospheres, down-home charm 鈥� there鈥檚 a perfect experience for all wine enthusiasts in every corner of the state.
