Celebrate the opening of the new Glenwood-Allred Wildlife Management Area at GilaFest on May 9
The New Mexico Department of Wildlife is hosting GilaFest from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 9, celebrating the opening of the new Glenwood-Allred Wildlife Management Area, the completion of renovation work at the Glenwood State Fish Hatchery and ongoing conservation work benefiting Gila trout.
The event is free and attendees can take a birding hike at the Glenwood-Allred Wildlife Management Area, watch the Gila trout stocking at Whitewater Creek, take a tour of the Glenwood State Fish Hatchery and more.
