Jeffrey Candelaria to hold workshop at Books on the Bosque

Books on the Bosque will host two author events this week.

At 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 19, Jeffrey Candelaria of sa国际传媒官网网页入口 will offer a workshop based on his book 鈥淭ORO: The Naked Bull.鈥 Candelaria wants readers to consider love, loyalty and courage as being greater than secular accomplishments.

At 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, Glenn Aparicio Parry presents a workshop on 鈥淥riginal Love: The Timeless Source of Wholeness.鈥 It is also the title of the third book of a trilogy. The first two are 鈥淥riginal Thinking: A Radical Revisioning of Time, Humanity and Nature鈥 and 鈥淥riginal Politics: Making America Sacred Again.鈥

Books on the Bosque is located at 6261 Riverside Plaza Lane NW.

Santa Fe resident Carl Moore will chat about his book 鈥淥n the Road with On the Road鈥 at 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 19, at Collected Works.

It鈥檚 a book of photographs that鈥檚 intended to accompany Jack Kerouac鈥檚 famous 1957 novel 鈥淥n the Road.鈥

Moore鈥檚 photos invite readers to see Kerouac鈥檚 America with fresh eyes 鈥 not as nostalgia 鈥 but as a living, breathing terrain.

Kerouac was also a poet and was considered a leading member of the Beat Generation of writers and poets of the 1950s and 鈥60s.

Collected Works is located at 202 Galisteo St., downtown Santa Fe.
