Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham said Thursday afternoon in a post on X, formerly Twitter, she is still "waiting on a thank-you note" from the Republican Party of New Mexico, stating the GOP used her unsuccessful public health order — banning open or concealed carry in public places — as a fundraising opportunity.

The GOP responded by saying, "Thanks for the plug," stating the party's aim to take the governor to court for "violating" her oath of office.
