Come on NM, I can't believe you picked DEB HAALAND to run for governor. She never did anything when she was in Congress and then with the Epstein thing 鈥� I wish it would of been Sam Bregman. I guess I'm voting for Gregg Hull. We don't need another MLG in office. EM
Regarding "Proposed North Valley mosque spurs resistance, vitriol" (June 3 Journal): Reprehensible racism out of the North Valley as the neighborhood there spouts hatred toward the new proposed MOSQUE and its members. America was founded on the value of freedom of religion for all, not just Christians. SW
I am opposed to the proposed MOSQUE being built. There are already traffic problems and I don鈥檛 want people chanting 鈥渄eath to America鈥� in my neighborhood. This is the same population that is responsible for 9/11 other unspeakable crimes. No way. KW
An out-of-town couple drive ROUTE 66 through ABQ and the wife says, 鈥淚 feel like I鈥檓 in a zombie apocalypse.鈥� Husband says, 鈥淭his place must be run by progressive Democrats.鈥� What an embarrassment for all ABQ citizens. SS
HAALAND has misspoken many times about her policies, so when she says she will run a clean campaign, she is not being truthful. Democrats have no policy but big government, free stuff and slander. She has already proclaimed that she has to stop the Trump agenda. That is dirty campaigning. GH
The ENHANCED SERVICE AND SAFETY ZONE ORDINANCE makes it less safe for my neighbors and I. It just makes the unhoused move elsewhere. Now my neighborhood is flooded with a new encampment by Phoenix and Louisiana. Again, problems aren't addressed but moved elsewhere with empty liquor bottles I've been finding. DD
This summer, we will celebrate our country's 250TH ANNIVERSARY. Those of us old enough to remember the 200th celebration know it can be a time of unity and sharing our heritage. Unfortunately, President Trump has turned this celebration into a series of partisan, expensive and divisive events. What a shame. AF

A CAGE MATCH is a fabulous way to celebrate America鈥檚 250th. Who can forget George Washington鈥檚 first cage match at Mount Vernon between Paul Revere and Benedict Arnold? The Wright brothers fly over really set the mood. Upcoming newly revised history books will vividly recount this first uniquely American mind-blowing spectacle. JY

Donald Trump is going to denaturalize 17 citizens for alleged fraud. So, why did he just pardon former Indiana Republican Congressman STEVE BUYER, who was convicted of securities fraud? JJ
Jeff Tucker had my primary vote all wrong. Haaland and BREGMAN had many stands that I agreed with, and I was torn. But when he ran a campaign ad that made Haaland look foolish I knew I could not vote for a candidate willing to mock a woman's speaking style. BM
The city needs to make every effort to get the HOMELESS off the streets when the outdoor temperatures reach the 90s. Recently I saw homeless people trying to cope with a sweltering 93-degree temperature along Menaul. These people should be in cooling centers not in the throes of hell. RF

When a leader who controls the nuclear codes exhibits extreme grandiosity, emotional lability, severe rage and anger, dysarthria or slurred speech, ataxia or an unsteady gait, the public has every right to demand absolute transparency 鈥� including raw medical scans and the president's perfect MRI. If POTUS won't release it, resign. BF
